Vintage United 0-size 12-fret in X-braced cedar/birch, 1 13/16” nut, 2 5/16” string spacing, nice sustain for fingerstyle

I had more inquiries about the last United parlor I offered in this wood combination that I decided to compose another just like it. The X-braced cedar top is such an improvement that I can say enough about how well it sounds. Wider nut might favor larger hands or the accomplished fingerstyle player.

SPECS: 0-size body, 12-fret neck with paddle headstock, ladder-braced solid cedar book matched top in stained finish, birch sides and back in tobacco brown finish, cream binding around sound hole, top and back, poplar neck with neck reinforcement added, Golden Age tuning machines, low oval neck profile, rosewood fretboard with new frets, new rosewood bridge, bone nut and saddle with ebony pins. Nut width: 1 13/16”, String Spacing: 2 5/16”, Scale length: 24.56”, Upper bout: 9 3/4”, Lower Bout: 13 1/2”, Body length: 17 3/4”, Widest body depth: 3 3/4”, Overall length: 37”, Neck thickness at 1st fret: 13/16“, Neck thickness at 5th fret: 13/16”, Action: 1/8”, string gauge setup: D’addario EJ26 custom light gauge in standard tuning.

CONDITION: Solid rebuilt condition with upgraded bracing to accommodate modern steel strings. Other work included neckset, X-braced cedar top, bridge, setup. Repurposed woods may have underlying scrapes and scratches, bumps and bruises.

SOUND: Full and resonant tone with nice sustain. Great all-around player for most any style. Action can be adjusted to suit your playing style.
