This little Harmony is one of the better examples produced by this perennial American instrument maker. Quality construction with all solid woods is a windfall for terz size guitars. This is a wonderful example of an early short scale terz, capable of either standard tuning with light strings or G-G tuning with extra light strings.

SPECS: terz-size body, 12-fret neck, ladder-braced solid birch all around, paddle headstock with vintage tuning machines, new adjustable truss rod, full “C” profile neck, bound top, original fretboard and frets, MOP fret markers with corresponding side dots, new rosewood bridge with compensated saddle slot, repurposed ebony nut, unbleached bone saddle and pins. Nut width: 1 10/16”, String Spacing: 2 1/16”, Scale length: 21 3/8”, Upper bout: 8 1/4”, Lower Bout: 11 1/2”, Body length: 15 5/8”, Widest body depth: 3 1/4”, Overall length: 32 3/4”, neck depth at 1st fret: 7/8”, neck depth at 5th fret: 7/8”, Action at 12th fret: 3/32”. Setup with extra light strings for G-G tuning.

CONDITION: Completely solid throughout with one prior repaired shoulder hairline, above average wear otherwise, vintage black relic finish for added vibe. Work included neck reset, adjustable truss rod, new bridge, updated top bracing, body finish and setup. Please note that vintage, used or repurposed materials will have underlying swirls, scrapes, scratches, bumps and bruises. Any new elements/features added during the rebuild were made to fit in with the old.

SOUND: Tone is bell like with emphasis on the higher registers. Rather bodacious and playability is a dream. Chucky fingers might find fretting a challenge given the shorter string spacing. Setup currently for fingerstyle but I can adjust the setup, within reason, at the customer’s request. Follow the link below to checkout the sound sample.

Price: $699
