This Harmony-made Stella 0-size tenor was born in their Chicago factory and produced during the folk music craze of the 1960s. The parlor-size body is super comfortable for sofa, porch or studio playing. Rare to find an example in this body size and condition with top notch playability.

SPECS: 0-size body, 14-fret neck with paddle headstock, ladder-braced solid spruce top in vintage relic finish, real mahogany top binding, solid birch sides and back in original vintage finish, original poplar neck with modern adjustable truss rod, original tuning machines w/ cream buttons, tenor “D” neck profile, new rosewood fretboard with new medium frets, repurposed vintage ebony nut, new rosewood bridge with bone saddle and ebony pins, MOP inlays. Nut width: 1 1/4”, String Spacing: 1 1/2”, Scale length: 22 5/8”, Upper bout: 9 1/2”, Lower Bout: 13 1/4”, Body length: 17 5/8”, Widest body depth: 3 5/8”, Overall length: 36”, Neck thickness at 1st fret: 7/8“, Neck thickness at 5th fret: 1”, Action: 3/32”, string gauge setup: CGDA tenor tuning.

CONDITION: Solid rebuilt condition with relic finish retained. Work included spruce top, bridge, neckset with new fretboard/ frets and truss rod, MOP inlays, finish touchups and setup. Please note that vintage, repurposed materials will have underlying swirls, scrapes, scratches, bumps and bruises. Any new features added during the rebuild were made to fit in with the old.

SOUND: Vintage tone with above average tenor projection for this body size. Fingerstyle or strummed, notes rings clear up the neck for the player with an average attack.
